In the way back, heady, days of the aughts, I kept myself active in various online Grateful Dead & Phish communities. One of the things I found myself able to contribute were mixes of live jams compiled and designed to created something new, typically in the spirit of the original artists’ work with a bit of John Oswald‘s “Grayfolded” and the Grateful Dead’s “Infrared Roses” as guide posts.
Here, I hope to present a catalog and home to these works. All were created from freely traded sources, and shared in the spirit of the trading policies of the artists.
