It's Up To You

As a pen and ink 
   or keyboard and electron arrangement on crt
composer,
it falls 
        within my dreams
and seems 
        beyond my means
to represent the lines
 intertwining 
       and dancing 
  from the frets
lifting to the air
and drifting to rest.

How does one illustrate-
     without staff and cleff-
the rise and fall
of splendorous waves?
